If the player chooses to confide in Emboria about their background, they can invite him to join the party after the conversation. When asked whether Solandar had any descendants, Emboria said he wasn't sure, but suggested that wanting his wife and children to live undisturbed was likely one of the reasons he went to his death. This introduces two mysteries: whether this renowned archmage is related to 玊初 by blood, and where exactly the feud between the Solandar family and the Wind-Words family originated (Rock Beneath: the Answer-Prologue). These tasks are all part of Under the Deep Rock, though completing them is not required for recruiting Emboria into the party.

如果选择向恩波利亚阐述自己的身世，主角就可以在交谈结束后邀请他加入队伍。问及索兰达尔是否有后代时，恩波利亚表示他并不清楚，但他说，他认为希望妻儿能不受侵扰地活下去极可能是他赴死的原因之一。此处引出了两个谜题，一为这位赫赫有名的大魔法师是否与玊初存在血缘关系，二为索兰达尔家族与风语家族的仇怨究竟起于何处（深岩之下 解 引子 ）。这些任务都属于深岩之下的一环，不过不完成也不影响招揽恩波利亚入队。
