Transmutation is a spell obtained by deconstructing Glamour Magic, extracting and simplifying certain branches, invented by the ArchMage Keaperra Thurandare.

Simple and easy to use with powerful effects, Transmutation is a highly practical magic. Correspondingly, because it lacks the complete mechanism of Glamouring compared to the Glamour Magic, Transmutation cannot target itself, and will impart the target with some of the properties of the shape being transformed into. Generally speaking, these properties are drawbacks. For example, transforming into a cow does not change the sense of taste, but one would have to eat grass.

Even so, the convenience brought by Transmutation led to its widespread dissemination. In 1995, M.A.R. classified Transmutation as a T3 dangerous magic, and it was upgraded to T2 in 2010.

变形术是将塑形魔法 解构，取部分分支简化后所得的法术，由大魔法师加贝拉•索兰达尔 发明。

简单易用，效果强大，变形术是一种非常实用的魔法。相对应的，由于相较塑形魔法缺少塑形的完整机制，变形术不能以自己作为目标，且会赋予目标具有变形目标的部分性质。大部分时候，上述性质都属于缺陷。比如，变形成牛并不能改变味觉，但却不得不吃草。

即使如此，变形术带来的便捷性仍使之广泛传播。1995年，变形术被拉格里弗魔法协会 列为三级危险魔法，并于2010年升为二级。
